Violet knew about them and she did not care much. The hero Kit was a likable character too but he had many faults. She was very courageous, smart and witty but also tender, caring and understanding. The heroine Violet was my favorite character of the book. The story started out REALLY good and grabbed me and then It kept me interested all the way through. This book really did not have much to do about Christmas at all but I'm still glad that I read it. In 2009, she served on the board of LARA and in 2010, she was Vice President of ESPAN.I was wanting a Christmas romance and I have to admit the name of the title grabbed me. Vivienne is an active member of Romance Divas, Romance Writers of America, Los Angeles Romance Authors, Indie Romance Ink, Passionate Ink, and several yahoo groups dedicated to romance.

And if she has to choose, it's Damon over Stefan, though she'll happily drool over Paul Wesley's abs anytime. She loves Edward AND Jacob, except in the films where Jacob rules.

She loves Jane Austen, but not Jayne Eyre, Tess of the D'Urbevilles but not Age of Innocence. When not embroiled in a book, Vivienne enjoys several pastimes: karaoke, astrology, making Artist Trading Cards, cooking, and socializing with friends. She's got a penchant for charming, redeemable rakes that drip sensuality from every pore. What makes Vivienne's stories unique is her love of a sassy heroine who keeps the hero on his toes. Historicals were her first love, followed by stories with supernatural elements. She devoured everything she could find: Regencies, British Harlequins, Westerns, Blaze Harlequins, Medievals, and a few contemporaries.

She discovered a tattered, stripped copy of Only His by Elizabeth Lowell and shortly after inherited a box of 80's and early 90's romances. She started writing romance around the age of fifteen after a lucky find in a thrift store.
